THE ISLAMIC ECONOMY IN LIGHT OF THE STRUGGLE OVER RENEWABLE ENERGY: IMPORTANCE AND ROLE

Abstract

The research addressed the problem of the role played by the Islamic economy in achieving sustainable development by investing in renewable energy projects, and taking care of the environment and preserving it through this type of energies as an alternative to fossil energy that shaped capitalist systems around the world, and was largely compatible with the binary positivist economic systems, and accordingly, the goal The research is to clarify this role and its importance, and the position of the Islamic economy on sustainable development, and the points of convergence with it in terms of objectives and dimensions. The research concluded that the Islamic economy and through the banking sector, zakat funds, and endowment institutions play a prominent role in achieving sustainable development through renewable energy, in which the world is living in a political and military conflict over its sources in the East and West.
