Abstract

The research addressed the problem of the role of the quality of educational institutions in achieving sustainable development on the part of the human element, which is considered the core of the requirements for achieving development. The research sought to demonstrate the relationship that links raising the quality levels of educational institutions to investing in sustainable development opportunities, and facing the challenges of this investment and the future prospects that follow this. Efforts. The research relied on the descriptive approach in describing the relationship that links the quality of educational institutions in Iraq with the requirements for achieving sustainable development, which stems from attention to the quality of the teaching staff and the quality of the student, all the way to the quality of human educational management, with a theoretical and research foundation in accordance with this approach. The research reached several conclusions, the most prominent of which is that achieving the requirements of sustainable development in 2030 requires developing the quality of educational institutions in Iraq, and then providing solutions to the material, legislative and human obstacles in order to invest in sustainable development opportunities.
