Abstract

The research aims to clarify the nature of the relationship between some macroeconomic variables represented (public spending, interest rate, exchange rate) and the agricultural sector in Iraq for the period (2004-2020) and using standard analysis tools to know the impact of some macro variables (public spending, interest rate, exchange rate) ) on the agricultural sector in Iraq for the duration of the study, and the researcher reached several conclusions, the most important of which is that the Iraqi economy suffers from several problems, which are reflected on the economic sectors and as a result of the problems that the agricultural sector has suffered and is still suffering from due to inappropriate conditions, lack of rain and water, and a low area yield rate Cultivated and the migration of the farmer land and others.
